My Story

Hello I'm Megan, a California grown girl with an urge to explore. I live life with the mindset of always having something to look forward to. Wisdom my dad has instilled in me. Exploring the world makes me feel like I am truly living. Being determined and accomplishing goals is much easier said than done but this is my journey through life and determination is my main driver.

I wear a smile and carry positivity with me wherever I go. For every negative I try to think of 3 positives -- a game my friend Kaycee and I played to get through college -- I believe having a bucket list is necessary to carrying out the best life possible.

I'm a big believer in fate and try to allow change as much as possible because I have come to find that nothing ever goes as planned but everything always works out perfectly. I find that karma has a funny way of working out.

I don't like being mean to others because it doesn't make me feel good. I am forever grateful for my family and friends. Having a support system as strong as mine has helped me flourish into the person I am today.

I'm terrible at lying which is good because it keeps me honest.

I received a bachelor of arts degree in communication and minor in sociology from the university of california at Davis. My minor in sociology has amplified my love of people watching.

I like to challenge myself and go outside my comfort zone simply to understand myself better as a person. Traveling and immersing myself in different cultures has taught me more about life than school ever could.

I am accepting of everyone. I don't like talking bad about others or judging people. Everyone has a story and you never know what that is until you get to know someone. Being mean is not something you are ever going to find from me. If anything it bothers me too much when I am mean to others.

My love of yoga is a new hobby that I hope continues in my life forever. Mastering the practice and becoming an instructor is my ultimate goal I hope to reach one day.

I love tattoos because its a good way of self expression as well as good markers for your life. My most meaningful tattoo is on the back of my neck and it says hope in thai (khwaamM wangR or ความหวัง ). I got it in Thailand when I went and volunteered for a month. It is a constant reminder that without hope nothing is possible.

That is a little about me.. So come be a fly on the wall as I travel through life. Wether my travel be a trip to the farmers market or a whole new country -- watch as I indulge in a health conscious lifestyle, traveling mindset and determination of checking things off my bucket list.

Comments are always welcomed and encouraged but please leave any negativity at the door. (Or use my rule if you have something negative to say follow it with any 3 positives)
Example- (neg)- I don't like today
pos- I'm thankful to be alive
pos- Life is good
pos- I'm thankful for all the amazing experiences I've had
Crazy how something so simple can do wonders.. Keep the right mindset and the world is yours! :)
